Propagation of Gaharu Plant Gyrinops Versteegii Species Provenant Beringin Throught in Vitro Culture

Grynops verstegii is a non-timber forest product commodity that has very high economic value. People know this tree as the agarwood tree. In Lombok, Beringin provenance one of leading provenances, so it important to conserve its germplasm. This study aims find alternatives for gaharu development through seed production using in vitro culture techniques. research was carried out July 2021 at Tissue Culture Unit Immunobiology Laboratory, University Mataram. experiment there were 8 media treatments with different concentrations BAP (Ssitokini) and NAA (auxin). The results showed callus growth occurred on MS 1, 3, 4, 6, 7 media. However, best obtained 1 treatment combination 1.0 ppm 0.5 NAA. While most samples experienced browning contamination.
